I was inducted into Chi Epsilon, the national civil engineering honor society, due to recognition by all the professors teaching me during my graduate studies at Lamar University. Chi Epsilon honors students who exemplify the society’s four core principles: scholarship, character, practicality, and sociability. Established in 1922, the organization aims to maintain and elevate the status of civil engineering as an ideal profession by fostering these essential traits. Being a member of Chi Epsilon signifies a commitment to the highest standards of technical ability, moral integrity, and effective social engagement, contributing to the betterment of society through engineering.
